We at DVS Soft Ltd. are proud to be one of the first software companies, the first in Wales, with our own ‘cloud’ enabling our secure online backup to perform efficiently and reduce our carbon footprint.
Having recently teamed up with Kaspersky Lab by bundling the domestic version of our online backup software with their anti-virus product which is now on sale in Comet stores throughout the UK, DVS Soft Ltd. is Wales’ flag ship in the global online backup software market.
Not just relevant to computer techs, we all use our computers in everyday scenarios, from domestic to business, to shop, sell, educate and email. Understanding how our computers work is secondary to actually expecting them to perform efficiently. With cloud computing we are able to minimise resources and maximise the agility of the system to cope with varying demands in an ecologically responsible way.
When the demand is low servers in the ‘cloud’ are automatically powered to standby. When extra resources are needed servers in the ‘cloud’ are automatically brought on line as required, therefore reducing our carbon footprint and saving energy.
We are very excited to have developed the ‘DVS Cloud’ for the benefit of our customers, and will continue in our endeavour to be able to offer them the latest technology in the greenest way possible and thank Cardiff City Council Strategy and Enterprise for their interest and ongoing support.
